The Pioneers’ Centre, a separate alternative provision school guided by The Castle Rock School and Lionheart Educational Trust, offers a nurturing environment that tailors learning to meet needs, whilst ensuring a strong foundation of core subjects, so that every pupil develops strong literacy, numeracy and communication skills necessary for success in later life.
At The Pioneers’ Centre, we recognise that the formal setting of mainstream school may not suit all young people. Different needs and learning styles sometimes need a different approach.
We focus on providing a positive environment with a nurturing approach to enable young people to learn in caring, kind and respectful surroundings.
We offer a range of GCSE core subjects supplemented with some vocational courses designed to excite and inspire our young learners, enabling them to succeed and achieve their potential.
As principal I am proud of what we can achieve at The Pioneers’ Centre and it is a privilege to be part of an inspiring team who put the students, their future and their families at heart of what we do.
